What is a Republican?
July 4, 2010
My voter’s registration card has an ‘R’ on it, but what does that mean? Well, that depends on who you ask; some of the possible answers are:
- Rich white male, over 40 years old, who hates minorities, women and the working class.
- Patriot, willing to stand up against the socialist movement in America.
- Bible-thumper, who is going to tell you all the ways you’re going to make it into hell.
- Proponent of limited government, individual freedoms, a free market enterprise, traditional family values, and a strong national defense.
The truth is, it doesn’t necessarily mean any of those things. There is no definition of what a Republican or Democrat is. Both of these party structures have been around longer than anybody who associates themselves with them.
So, who gets to choose? Who created this bullshit spectrum of “How Republican are you?” You hear all these ‘grassroots activists’ running around as if they were anointed by Lincoln and Reagan themselves as the embodiment of Republicanism. It’s sort of like all the hip-hop stars running around arguing about whose side Tupac and Biggie would be on… if they were alive. The truth is, times change.
I know what your thinking… “go cry somewhere else you RINO!” I’ll get right to that, after I make my point.
I want to point out the hypocrisy of it all. First, one of the concepts that almost all Republicans agree on is ‘States Rights.’ This is also the premise for the 10th amendment to the United States Constitution. Why though? Well, because what’s good for California, isn’t necessarily good for Montana; what works in New York, may not work in Oregon, et cetera. So, why are we averse to seeing the value of this within the party? I’m sure a majority of Cedarville, Arkansas is against gay marriage, whereas SanFrancisco, California is not; but I will bet you my second amendment they both like lower taxes.
Okay, I’m done now. If you need me I will be busy defending myself against my own party, instead of focusing on the Democrats.
Obama Funds Offshore Drilling!
October 7, 2009
Unfortunately, it’s not here at home. Instead, the United States is now lending $2Billion to the Brazilian Government owned company Petrobras.
I know what your saying:
“Wait wait wait, so, your telling me that the US government, whom of which is in massive debt, is lending money to one of the most lucrative companies in the Americas?”
You heard right! Obama has never fully opposed offshore drilling here in the US, but he drags on and on about how it isn’t the answer and it wont do us any good. Apparently, if we empower another country, it’s different.

Florida Fights For Their 10th Amendment Rights
August 26, 2009
The 10th amendment to the United States constitution reads as follows:
“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
This right is encroached upon daily by the Federal Government. The great state of Florida and our House of Representative have had enough.
“Be It Resolved by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
That the Legislature claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the Federal Government by the Constitution of the United States.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED
that this memorial serves as a notice and a demand to the Federal Government, as our agent, to cease and desist, effective immediately, from issuing mandates that are beyond the scope of these constitutionally delegated powers.”
I call upon all Florida residents to contact your state legislature and tell them you support this resolution. If you are not a Florida resident, contact your legislature and tell them you demand them to take similar actions.

Left-wing terrorist threatens to kill informant who stopped the bombing of GOP convention.
August 24, 2009
This is what our democracy is being brought to. When we have left-wing terrorists who not only plot to bomb the Republican National Convention, but now the people who foiled those attempts are receiving death threats as well.
Katyanne Marie Kibby, a 25 year old woman from Texas, was indicted in June by a federal grand jury for threatening to kill Brandon Darby. Darby is a community activist-turned-informant who assisted in the convictions against the men who plotted to conduct terrorist attacks on the GOP last September.
Every day you hear from the liberal media about so called right-wing terrorists, people who are standing up for not only what they believe in, but what this country was founded on. What makes them terrorists? The fact that they will use their constitutional right of peaceful assembly to oppose the Obama administrations tyrannical agenda.
I think it is safe to say that the media improperly portrays activism as an act of terror or bigotry. the extremes on both sides of the political spectrum can be dangerous, which is portrayed very well in this article.

All that Glitters, is not Gold.
August 24, 2009
This timeless saying surely holds relevancy today as the President’s approval rating has done more than slip. Everywhere you look, it seems the world loves Obama; news, celebrities, domestic terrorists, tyrannical dictators and a myriad of others with the loudest voice on the block all cheer the messiah’s name. Yet, it is becoming more and more prevalent that this is all just a guise. Why so much effort to hide the truth? Because Americans are bred to be winners, so many people vote for who they believe is most likely to win. Fortunately, the American people aren’t buying it anymore. The newest Rasmussen report shows that only 28% of likely voters “strongly approve” of the way the President has conducted himself in the White House thus far. In retrospect, 40% “strongly disapprove.” The Rasmussen polls are known to be the most accurate on political issues, and predicted the last Presidential election numbers very precisely.

Cali. Congressman calls Healthcare plan “Threat to Democracy”
August 23, 2009
It seems that every town hall held by a Democrat senator, congressman or member of the Obama administration ends in failure. Republican Congressman, Wally Herger, of California recieved a much different result. Herger portayed to those attending his town hall meeting the ideas of the Republican Party to a crowd of cheering and applauds. “Opening up competition among private health care companies by forcing companies to sell policies nationwide rather than just within individual states, tort reform to bring down malpractice costs” Are a few of these ideas. The California congressman also brought up the unconstitutionality of the Obama plan for Healthcare, stating that it breaches the tenth amendment.
